Battle of the Books

Battle of the Books is a quiz bowl-style competition that brings together teams of student readers for a friendly literary challenge. Participants commit to reading 10-12 award-winning books from the annual BoB list, which includes titles at various reading levels. Students can read independently, with their team, or with an adult.

More than just a competition, Battle of the Books fosters teamwork, exposes students to exceptional literature, and encourages a high volume of reading both in and outside the classroom. The ultimate goal? Building a lifelong love of reading!

This is a free program open to all interested 3rd-5th-grade students.
